OUR SPRING ‘26 INTERNSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW LIVE >>
-
Completing our application is the first step in being considered for various roles with our partner organizations. Selected applicants will be invited to rank the organizations they are interested in working with in order of preference.
-
After the Ma3 Ba3d team reviews and filters applications, candidates will be referred to the organizations and roles that best match their profiles. Our partner organizations will have the final decision on whether to accept or deny the applicants Ma3 Ba3d has presented to them.
-
Once applicants accept their placement, they will begin their internship, fellowship, research position, volunteer position, or other specified program with our partner organizations.
-
Successful applicants will be inducted into the Ma3 Ba3d cohort, a program operating parallel to the candidate’s program with our partner organizations.
This support cohort will have three parts and is aimed at supporting individuals throughout their time with our partner organization.
Pre-program training:
Before interns begin their role with their respective organization, Ma3 Ba3d will host a pre-programming training meeting to familiarize interns with some of the skills that they can carry over into their program. This meeting can also be used to answer any questions.
Mid-program meeting:
A second meeting will be conducted midway through the program to check in on how individuals are finding their program. This meeting will be used to address any concerns and evaluate whether their placement meets their expectations. One-on-one meetings with Ma3 Ba3d members are also available upon request.
Post-program meeting:
A post-program meeting allows interns, fellows, and volunteers to share what they have learned and accomplished throughout their program through the sharing of a presentation, paper, or project. Any final thoughts or input about the program experience may also be shared during this meeting.
After the meeting, candidates will receive a Ma3 Ba3d program certificate along with any additional recognition provided by the partner organization.

Being part of the Ma3 Ba3d cohort goes far beyond a traditional internship. Interns join a close-knit, values-driven community of peers working across diverse sectors—law, development, public health, education, tech, and more—all united by a shared commitment to one’s home country. As a cohort member, you also gain access to exclusive training sessions and skill-building webinars before and throughout the internship, creating space not just to work, but to learn and grow together. You’ll build meaningful relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and local partners—connections designed to last well beyond the program. The experience culminates in a Ma3 Ba3d Certificate of Completion, recognizing your contributions and commitment to collaborative, community-centered impact.
