Our research team investigates the multifaceted issues currently facing Lebanon and Syria. The team then finds the most sustainable and collaborative ways to tackle these problems, as well as organizations on the ground and abroad that are actively working towards these pathways to change.

Based on our research findings, Ma3 Ba3d partners with organizations that share the mission of empowering diaspora to give back to Syria and Lebanon. Through these collaborations, Ma3 Ba3d works to establish and promote edisting opportunities for diaspora engagement, including but not limited to internships, fellowships, and volunteer programs across a diverse array of organizations. These opportunities offer meaningful pathways for the diaspora to support rebuilding efforts in their home countries.

To make engagement more accessible, Ma3 Ba3d offers a single, consolidated application that connects applicants to multiple programs. This system not only simplifies the process for the diaspora but also ensures partner organizations receive quality, committed candidates through Ma3 Ba3d’s talent-matching approach.

Thanks to our partners, Ma3 Ba3d serves as the host to various opportunities. These internships, fellowships, and volunteer roles across various organizations are made accessible through our singular centralized application.

Rather than submitting thirty different applications for an internship relating to Syria or Lebanon at various organizations, applicants will only need to submit one application through Ma3 Ba3d. Our team will then filter through applications to best match talent to the numerous opportunities we have available through our partners.

This system streamlines the time spent on both applying and reviewing candidates, as Ma3 Ba3d filters through applicants, ensuring partners are matched with the most qualified candidates. We optimize time for both the applicant and our partners.

Ma3 Ba3d’s methodology fills the need of both the individual candidate and the organization to optimize time without sacrificing quality. By centralizing the application process, we make applying to various opportunities less time-consuming. We also match talent on behalf of our partner organizations to present them with the applications deemed best qualified for the respective positions. Our partner organizations then have the option to accept or reject the pool of candidates we have selected for them. Shortly thereafter, applicants receive their decision and may choose to accept or reject their placement.

If candidates accept, they begin working with our partner organization while remaining part of the Ma3 Ba3d cohort. As part of the Ma3 Ba3d cohort, accepted applicants will receive a pre-program orientation to prepare interns, fellows, and volunteers with foundational skills to excel in their respective programs. We also conduct a mid-program review to check in on how their program with our partner organization is going and whether it meets expectations. One-on-one meetings with Ma3 Ba3d members are also available upon request. Finally, a post-program meeting allows interns, fellows, and volunteers to share what they have learned and accomplished throughout their program. These meetings ensure that participants are supported during their time with our partner organizations, while also allowing us to evaluate whether each organization is fulfilling its responsibility to provide a sound and positive experience for our cohort.
